Terrified by the waves, You reached out and pulled me from the deep waters

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for never turning me away
though my sins are many.
When I was lost in a sea, surrounded by enemies,
You heard my cries for help
and You rescued me.
Terrified by the waves, I was about to sink.
With one hand reaching out, about to lose all hope,
You reached out and pulled me from the deep waters.
Because of You I stand on solid ground. 
My enemies seethe as they watch in confusion.
You gave me peace,
a peace this world will never understand.
Take away my foolish desires,
and let me find life by walking with You.
Take my hand and lead me to ways that lead to life.
