Saturday Ministries 1/24/2026

Today we made deliveries to the Harlan House and Hotel Lafayette in Downtown Easton. We hosted our homeless outreach food distribution at Hotel Lafayette due to the extreme temperatures. As I was pulling up to the curb in front of Hotel Lafayette, I notice a homeless man I hadn't seen in many months crossing the street. I yelled out to him by his name (grateful to God I remembered his name after all this time had passed), stopping in his tracks, he looked puzzled that this "strange" man knew his name. After he crossed the street and we began talking, he recognized me. I caught him just in time to join us for our food distribution at the hotel!

But something even more remarkable happened today than merely sharing food. At that very small window of time, I made a man, often overlooked by society and passers-by, feel seen. We talked for a while on the street corner, not as a homeless man, but two ordinary men just having a conversation on the street. He then offered to help unload the vehicles and I thanked and praised him for it.

It was a beautiful day that the Lord has made. He blessed us abundantly as He always does, and many people were blessed because of His ministry. God is good.
