Faith in Action: Serving Our Community in Downtown Easton

Today was a beautiful example of what happens when faith moves beyond words and into action.

We were honored to host our Homeless Outreach Food Distribution at Hotel Lafayette in Downtown Easton, and the day overflowed with God’s provision. There was an abundance of food, a strong spirit of unity, and so many individuals who came not only to receive food, but to experience care, compassion, and love.

Scripture reminds us that faith without works is dead, and today we witnessed living faith in motion. Every grocery served was an expression of God’s love. Every conversation shared was a reminder that each person matters deeply to Him. This outreach wasn’t just about meeting physical needs—it was about building relationships, restoring dignity, and reminding our neighbors that they are not forgotten.

What stood out most was the sense of community. Volunteers, donors, and guests came together in one space, united by love and purpose. There was gratitude, laughter, prayer, and moments that quietly reflected God’s presence among us. In serving others, we were reminded that we, too, are blessed.

We are incredibly thankful for everyone who played a role—those who gave generously, those who served faithfully, and those who lifted this outreach up in prayer. Because of your obedience and willingness, lives were touched and hope was shared.

God showed up in powerful ways today. From the abundance of food to the faces we encountered, His goodness was evident in every detail. God is good—all the time!

Join Us in Making a Difference

This mission doesn’t end here. The need in our community is ongoing, and so is our calling to love and serve.

If you feel led to be part of this work, we invite you to:

  • Volunteer your time at future outreach events
  • Donate food or resources to help us continue serving
  • Pray for our neighbors and for continued provision
  • Spread the word so others can get involved

Together, we can continue to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community—one meal, one conversation, and one act of love at a time.
